Duane Miller, professor and chair of the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences in the College of Pharmacy at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, has been named a fellow of the National Academy of Inventors.
“We’re the last to get screened, the last to get treated, and because of that we tend to die earlier,” said Patricia Matthews-Juarez, PhD, and co-director of the University of Tennessee Health Science Center’s Research Center on Health Disparities, Equity and the Exposome.
Dr. SoloRio earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Tennessee Center for the Health Sciences in Memphis.
