The chairman of the University of Tennessee Health Science Center Department of Genetics, Genomics and Informatics has won a $300,000 award to support glaucoma research, the Memphis university announced.

Panelists include: Dr. Brandon Baughman, Semmes-Murphey Clinic neuropsychologist and neurology assistant professor at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center; Dr. Frederick Boop, Semmes-Murphey neurosurgeon, chairman of neurosurgery at UTHSC, chief of pediatric neurosurgery at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and co-director of the Neuroscience Institute at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital.
