UTHSC to hold six graduation ceremonies for Memphis class of 2015

The University of Tennessee Health Science Center will graduate 698 new health care professionals at not one, but six ceremonies beginning Friday and ending May 29, officials said.

American Association of Neurological Surgeons Names Frederick A. Boop, MD, FAANS, as Organization’s President-Elect

Named one of America’s top doctors by the US News and World Report in 2012, Boop is currently the professor and chairman of the department of neurosurgery at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, Tenn. Additionally, he works as the chief of Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital division of pediatric neurosurgery.


Students Raise Funds for Nepal Earthquake Relief

Earlier this week, a group from UTHSC raised $3,000 in six hours for Nepal earthquake relief, which they turned over to local representatives of the Red Cross.
