The Shelby County Relative Caregiver Program at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) recently hosted a tea party for girls in its mentoring group. The Relative Caregiver Program at University of Tennessee Health Science Center helps children who are being cared for by relatives when their parents are unable to do so.
The University of Tennessee ranked among the top 100 universities worldwide in terms of the number of U.S. utility patents for technology the system was granted in 2014. That’s reportedly a new report by the National Academy of Inventors and and the Intellectual Property Owners Association.

After serving as interim dean for the last 10 months, Wendy Likes has been named dean of the College of Nursing at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center.
Likes, who earned her master’s, doctor of nursing science and Ph.D. at UTHSC, served as interim dean for about 10 months. She leads a faculty and staff with 105 members and a college that serves about 400 students on the campus in Memphis’ Medical District.
