The University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) is working with the Federal Bureau of Investigation in Memphis in a two-day workshop to help public health and safety officials, epidemiologists, law enforcement officials, first responders and civilian support teams identify how to work together to respond in the event of a bioterrorism threat.


Former Campbell Clinic chief named chair of UTHSC orthopedic

The former chief of staff at Campbell Clinic has been named chair of the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) orthopedic department. James Beaty, a pediatric orthopaedic surgeon at Campbell Clinic, has been named chair of the UT-Campbell Clinic Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Biomedical Engineering.

The University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) has opened a pro bono pediatric occupational therapy center in honor of a student who died in 2015. UTHSC student Rachel Kay Stevens died suddenly in January 2015, just after starting occupational therapy school. She was 21 years old.
