“It just so happened that after it opened, the decision was made to partner with the University of Tennessee Center for Health Sciences in Memphis with Saint Thomas Health in a residency program here locally for family and emergency medicine,” Ferguson said.
Graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry in 1978, Thompson has practiced dentistry in Murfreesboro since then.
The Reeves-Sain Foundation Inc. recently donated $100,000 to the College of Pharmacy at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, the school announced in a press release.
The residency is part of an expansion of an agreement between Saint Thomas Health and the University of Tennessee Health Science Center.
